As far back as I can remember, I always wanted to be a WeatherFella.
To me, knowing what the weather was doing was better than being the weatherman on television. Before I ever learned the difference between a watch and a warning, I knew I wanted to keep an eye on the sky.
That's when I knew where I belonged - with the fellas who always knew when a storm was coming.
They weren't like everybody else. While the rest of the neighborhood was staring out the window wondering what was going on, the WeatherFellas already knew. They knew when the hail hit, how strong the wind was, which neighborhoods got the worst of it, and what homeowners needed to know next.
Around here, weather moves fast. But the Fellas are always watching.
So when the clouds roll in, Fuhgeddaboudit.
